ResponsibleIT's Apprenticeship
We provide some of the best IT training in the UK. Young people who love technology, and have an aptitude for solving technical problems quickly, undergo a comprehensive 1-3 year training course with us.
At the end of their training, they not only have their industry qualifications – they are a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE), which requires you to pass at least 7 exams from Microsoft – but as importantly, they have 1-3 years commercial experience providing high-quality IT support to home users throughout London.
We provide non-technical training too – coaching them on how to provide the best customer service in the industry, and how to be productive yet stress-free at the work. We strongly believe a happy team is a productive team.
Half their paid time is spent providing I.T. support to home users and charities (our primary revenue) and the other half of their time is spent studying towards: an NVQ level 2 in Customer Service; and achieving the 7 Microsoft exams you need to pass to become a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE). Once they have their MCSE and 1-3 years commercial experience providing I.T. support – we act like a recruiter and place them with companies in need of a good junior I.T. engineer. The recruitment fee we receive is our secondary revenue.
Apart from the technical qualifications, they receive regular feedback and coaching on customer service, organisational and communication skills. We help them prepare for interviews when they are ready to be recruited out into the next role.
